Cemetery
Committee
The Cemetery Committee is a valued asset to our congregation and
a tribute to those whose lives we memorialize. The committee continues
to manage and operate the cemetery. It keeps the grounds neat and
orderly, removing old tree limbs, trimming the edge of the forest,
removing dead flowers from grave sites, and uprighting the fallen
tombstones. Click here for more information
about our cemetery.

Christian
Education & Youth
This ministry serves to assist children, youth and adults in understanding
and responding to the Gospel through educational opportunities and
fellowship activities.
Evangelism
The purpose of the Evangelism Committee is to equip and strengthen
members of Little Zion to reach out to those people in our area
who are in search of a church home.
Finance
This ministry oversees the financial affairs of the congregation.
This entails budget planning and preparation, and administration
of the congregations finances.
Global
Missions
The Global Missions Committee of Little Zion is responsible for
the church's mission outside of and within the United States. We
are an open and caring people, called to share God's kingdom with
those in need. We strive to make Christ known to the poor and those
who have become victims of natural and manmade disasters.

Life Long Learning Ministries for Women of Little Zion
LLLMWLZ is a group of women dedicated to helping those in need. We meet in Fellowship Hall at noon on the third Wednesday of each month. During our fellowship, we accomplish a lot. We put together school kits for children who have no supplies for learning, we collect food for the local Keystone Opportunity Center, and help put together health kits that go to disaster relief victims in Haiti and beyond.
During this time we have lunch (bring your own) and share the word of God through one of our members.
We are passionate about our commitment to the greater good and women of all ages are welcome to join us.
Personnel
The Personnel Committee furthers the greater mission of the church
by establishing fair and thorough practices for seeking, interviewing,
evaluating, and hiring capable staff to manage existing programs
and undertake new responsibilities. We are committed to assuring
that all personnel are treated equally and are supplied with the
tools they need to do their work. Through the use of current and
accurate job descriptions and periodic assessment of performance,
we coordinate the collection of constructive feedback for the staff.
By keeping orderly records and by providing timely input, we support
the budgeting process to help the council plan for and ensure stable
administration of the church organization. We do this with God's
guidance to further His work.
Property/Special
Projects
This ministry provides care, protection, and maintenance of the
physical building and property located at 267 Morwood Rd. This includes
refinishing and restoring various aspects of the building and maintaining
the grounds by trimming hedges, cleaning flower gardens, and so
forth. It is thanks to these people that we have such a wonderfully
restored building and crisp grounds.

Stewardship
The ministry of stewardship serves to provide leadership and direction
to the congregation in understanding and living out the gospel through
the practice of stewardship. This may involve giving of ones
time, ones spiritual gift, a specific skill or use of financial
resources. Stewardship is the expression of the gospel through both
an individuals and a congregations resources.
Worship
& Music
At Little Zion, much of our faith during worship is expressed through liturgy and music. The Worship & Music committee works hard to determine the best way to serve the congregations' needs in this regard. Worship involves confessing
sin and receiving absolution, hearing the Good News in both scripture
and in sermons, receiving the gospel through participation in the
sacraments and sending believers back out into the world to live
and proclaim the love of Christ.
